I DESIGN ENTERPRISE FEATURES PEOPLE ACTUALLY TRUST.
◆ About
I design AI and automation features for enterprise products. The software people use to source parts and keep production moving.
I've designed for aerospace and defense. Legal. Retail supply chain. Complex workflows in all of them. I've mentored junior designers, and I work with cross-functional teams to ship. Lately I ship my own front-end code too.
Discovery
Interviews, cognitive walkthroughs, contextual inquiry. I run research next to the design instead of in front of it.
AI TOOLS — Claude for interview synthesis and research planning.
APPROACH — Interview synthesis down from 2 days to 10 minutes.
Design
Low to high fidelity, then into the system. I document behavior, not just components, so design and engineering stop arguing from memory.
AI TOOLS — Magic Patterns for lo-fi, Figma Make + design system for hi-fi.
APPROACH — Explore loose, then make it match the system.
Prototyping
Figma prototypes for the questions they can answer, production front-end for the rest. I ship my own HTML/CSS.
AI TOOLS — GitHub Copilot for rapid HTML/CSS development.
APPROACH — Build it in HTML/CSS so dev can click the thing before it exists.
Experience
10+ years in design — 2 building AI features
2015–2017

Supply Chain
Streamlined inventory management for Walmart's 2,400 suppliers.
2017–2018

Conversion Growth
Redesigned merQbiz's landing page. Watched the heatmaps, ran A/B tests, iterated.
2018–2019

Legal Tech
Reworked timekeeping, billing, and analytics for lawyers. Refreshed the UI and built the design system underneath it.
2019–Present

AI Features
Designing AI and automation features for enterprise supply chain at Supplyframe, now part of Siemens.
